Greetings, my name is Ryan Dycus.

I am a Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Cornell Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy and a member of Cornell Research on Tobacco Regulation, where I work with Donald Kenkel and Alan Mathios. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Cornell University in 2026.

I am an empirical health economist specializing in risky health behaviors, primarily nicotine and tobacco use. Much of my research uses experimental and survey methods to understand the drivers of nicotine-product demand and the prospective impacts of tobacco-control policies under consideration.

I am on the 2026–2027 academic job market.
